Kent Matthes is the Founder of Stadium Ventures and a certified MLB Agent since 2018. Before launching SV in 2022, he was an agent at the two largest sports and entertainment agencies in the world and worked on player deals totaling over $1 billion. 

Kent played the game at every level. A Perfect Game All-American in high school, he chose to attend the University of Alabama, where he led the country in home runs and earned SEC Player of the Year and First Team All-American honors. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2009, he was named the top power-hitting prospect in their system, reaching Triple-A and earning a spot on the 40-man roster before a back injury affected his career. 

That experience has shaped everything at SV. His playing career taught him that talent alone isn't enough. Staying healthy and having the right people around you matter equally as much. Those lessons became the foundation of SV's Four Pillar Blueprint, a customized approach to each player's career at every step. 

Kent lives in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife, Charlyne, and their daughter, Chloé. Outside of family and clients, Kent enjoys fishing and golf.
